Method
This site runs no tests and owns no instruments. The comforters it picks were bought and handled, and none of them went on a scale. Dimensions, weights and fill figures are quoted from the people who publish them, and counts of those figures are labeled as counts.
What is quoted, and from where?
Published standards for sizing, and the dimensions and fill weights sellers state on their own product pages.
A stated dimension is the seller's claim about their own goods, which is useful and is not the same as a verified one.
What is this site's own contribution?
Arranging and counting what is scattered: a defined set of pages read on a date, with the totals written out.
That work is useful because the figures sit on many separate pages, in different units. It is also small, and inflating it would spoil the only thing it has going for it.
What gets corrected?
A revised standard, a listing changed since it was read, or a reader who finds the totals do not reconcile.
Corrections go into the sentence that was wrong and the review date beneath the page moves.
